UK Horse Racing Meets
Introduction
It has been suggested a number of times that there ought to be the occasional Meet organised where subscribers of the UK Horse Racing and Weak Favourites, as well as any one else who is interested, get together for a day's racing and good company.

Scheduled Meets
Ludlow - 13th October, 2005
Ludlow is another lovely market town but, this time, in the mid-Wales Marches where the scenery is wonderful. Ludlow boasts a strange castle which looks as if it's been knocked about by many a generation of jerry building castle workers. The town has some lovely inns and pubs with the racecourse just half an hour away's walk to the North. The course is lovely and worth going just for the excellent viewing facilities on top of the Victorian stands.
Past Meets
Thirsk - 23rd June, 2005
This is said to be a nice racecourse in the middle of Yorkshire just to the east of the Yorkshire Dales. Thirsk is a small market town and was Darrowby in the Herriot vetenarian tales.
