Creating A Portfolio

Part 1: Creating a simple lay portfolio with one system

  • At the top of the System Builder page click on PORTFOLIO, then ADD PORTFOLIO
  • Give your Portfolio a name, in this example “Lay Portfolio 1”.
  • Click on the blue Save File symbol (or the ‘X’ to cancel the operation).

In the screenshot below you can see that our new Lay Portfolio 1 has now been created and appears in the left window of the System Builder.

A tree view format is used and clicking on ‘+’ or ‘-’ opens and closes the tree structure.

The first step is to add a back or lay system to our newly created portfolio.

We will add the system ‘Larry-1 Lay’. Right click on SYSTEM to open all the systems available and then left click on the system you wish to add.

You can see that Lay Portfolio 1 is our active portfolio (highlighted in red) and contains one system Larry-1 Lay.

We now need to apply the settings and filters we require to this portfolio.

  • Time Till Post – 30 seconds
  • Stake – £5.00 as a fixed stake amount
  • Odds Range – 1.00 to 9.00
  • Countries - Include GBR & IRE racing
  • Weekdays – Include All
  • Value – Apply the Value Filter
  • Exchange Bet Only, i.e. the pre-race market.
  • Include both Handicaps and Non Handicaps
  • No Sellers Exclusions
  • Include All Race Types

Right click on FILTERS and click APPLY FILTERS to apply all the settings you have just selected.

Always check that the portfolio you are working on is active, i.e. highlighted in red, to ensure that you are applying the filters to the correct portfolio.

If you prefer you can use the OPTIONS > AUTO UPDATE PORTFOLIO function to automatically save your edited portfolio.

Here you can see your new portfolio with all the filters applied.

You can now close the System Builder window and you will be returned to the Main Activity Window where you will see that your new portfolio has downloaded a selection (a maximum of only only one as this system only makes one potential lay selection per day) and is ready to start betting.

If you click on the red active bar the bot will start betting. Do not do this at this stage!

Next you will learn how to create a portfolio with more than one system.
