Creating A Portfolio

Part 2: Creating a simple lay portfolio with more than one system

Now let’s create a second lay portfolio consisting of a number of systems and call this Lay Portfolio 2.

Repeat the directions from Lay Portfolio 1 to add the following 4 lay systems to this portfolio.

  • IMK Lay Filter
  • Larry-2 Lay
  • Lay 0
  • LOST Non handicap

Now apply these filters and settings that you can see here.

  • Time Till Post – 1 minute
  • Stake – 5% of bank as a liability
  • Odds Range – 1.00 to 4.00
  • Countries - Include GBR & IRE
  • Weekdays – Include All
  • Value – Do Not Apply Value Filter
  • Exchange Bet Only
  • Include Handicaps and Non Handicaps
  • No Sellers Exclusions
  • Include All Race Types

Here is a 3rd sample portfolio for you to create. Recreate the settings and filters below.

Now create a simple back portfolio.

And now a more complex back portfolio.

Note that this portfolio uses the “ALL SYSTEM” function. This means that the selection must appear in ALL systems included (two systems in this case) in order for it to be valid, still subject of course to Odds Range, etc..

Now you ought to have five sample portfolios set up in your bot.

Important Note

Please do not click on the red bar as these portfolios are illustrative only. You can now delete these portfolios or modify them as necessary to start building portfolios meeting your own desired profiles.

Other Facilities

Sample Portfolios

In the Members Area of the UK Horse Racing web site you can find the parameters for our Model Portfolios which you can directly use for your own betting if so desired.

Portfolio Management

Basic portfolio management can be undertaken by right clicking on a portfolio name and then selecting Edit.

Here one can Rename the selected portfolio, Remove (i.e. delete) the selected portfolio, Disable the portfolio or Export it to XML format for saving and/or sharing with others.

Notes

If you close the System Builder Window you will see that your Main Activity Window contains all of your portfolios.

At the bottom right you will see the values for the tracking of the account balance. The bot will track the balances for the Last (current) balance, High (highest) balance and Initial Balance (as at the start of the last period of continuous bot betting activity). It will update these values as appropriate in real time.

Continue for the information on the Main Activity Screen.
