When the bot is restarted the first thing is that the bot does into its internal database and dumps out CSV files containing any previous days' results.
When one is using the UKHR Bot Logging Spreadsheet it is vital to know where these files are dumped.
With Windows XP it was rather easy to find, one just clicked on the Windows Start button, found the All Programs list, then clicked on UKHR Bot and then when the Data tag came up, a quick right click on that to open File Explorer and then the path would be shown in the heading of the explorer. This path would be lobbed into the spreadsheet into cell I4 of the logger's Summary sheet.
With XP things were dead easy. However, with ever increasing annoyance, Microsoft decide to improve things and so finding essential information in later versions of Windows is a pain in the backside.
Help, however is at at hand. What one does is to run a good file search tool that will look for CSV files. Now, Windows comes up with a search tool and it's about as much use as a chocolate teapot. The best thing to do is to install a proper one.
Without hesitation, I can wholeheartedly recommend Voidtool's Everything Search Engine. This search tool is on my list of Essential Items that it's one of the first things that I install on a new machine and it should be on yours.
Start up the search tool of choice and look for all .csv files. This is the easiest way of finding the log files and you're looking for a csv with the name in this formet: d-m-yyyy.csv, so, for example if you know that the bot ran on the 5th of November, 2011 then you will be looking for a file called 5-11-2011.csv.
Once you have found that path then plug it into the Summary sheet of the logging spreadsheet and then it ought to run.
