Cheltenham 2005 - Well Chief

The following has been given to us by Andy who thinks that this may be useful information for the Festival.

I have just read something interesting off teletext and thought i'd let you know. This is a little article written on Teletext today.

Fathoming the winner of the Queen Mother Champion Chase is simple.

The first 3 in the betting, Moscow Flyer, Azertyiuop and Well Chief - can be separated by a look at history.

Look back to 2002. Moscow Flyer wins the Arkle and the Champion the next year. Azertyiuop repeats the act in 2003 and 2004. So, who won the Arkle last year? Yep, Well Chief, who's about 4/1 on Betfair. Problem Solved.

Something to add to this as well, when Derek Thompson interviewed Martin Pipe yesterday on Channel 4 racing, he was asked who he was most looking forward to running, he replied Well Chief.
