Three days after mentioning that perhaps the Tote wasn't the place to bet, one of our readers, 'GeeGee', placed three Exacta bets after following our ratings and walked out of his local Ladbrokes with more than £1,600.
The three horses were taken from the following ratings report (some of the columns have been removed to ensure that it fits on your screen).

GeeGee's method of staking are quite different to how most people operate. Obviously today at Newmarket is was extremely profitable. This is what GeeGee has to say.
"I tick your three top rated in my paper for every race, and then either bet online or at the bookies.
"Sometimes I dutch, othertimes I play each-way, or just try a a straight win,if the market points to a selection in your top three. Yesterday was exceptional, I was having a stroke of bad luck, and the exacta was the cheapest bet I could place for the best return.
"My tips are;
a) If any of the top 3 are well supported - Win Bet
b) If any of the top 3 are high odds - Each Way Bet
c) If 2 or more are high odds, or all 3 are over 5/1 - Exacta Bet.
"Nb. I`ve also won a couple of times by selecting 3 in each race, in a 4 fold combination accumulator. ie. 3x3x3x3 = 81 bets."
