UK Horse Racing Newsletter

Introduction

Again we make our apology for the delay in getting the Newsletters out. I had promised that I would try to get these published about once a month or once a fortnight to keep you in touch with developments.

The trouble is that since the last newsletter there have been so many developments that the newsletter was forgotten about totally. Not only that we managed to lose a mail server since the last newsletter so a lot of people's subscription applications have been lost.

But before we go any further, here's the usual disclaimer and reminder. Well, it's been a year and a half since the last one so here it is again.

The reason why you are reading this newsletter is that, once upon a time, your address was placed on our subscription mailing list. If you no longer wish to receive this newsletter or that this e-mail address was posted onto our mailing list by mistake then there are instructions in the footer on how to remove yourself from the list so that you won't ever be bothered again.

There's a lot which has been going on here at UK Horse Racing but it may be best if we waited for the next newsletter (which will be a lot sooner!) as we'll have to take stock of what we've done and then come back to you with a magnum opus which may be more interesting than this notelet.

Cheltenham 2006

To celebrate the Festival this year we are running a free to enter competition in which a horse is selected in each race. It promises to be good fun and since it's free there's nothing to lose.

The competition, and details, can be found at http://www.ukhorseracing.co.uk/ForumCheltenham/default.asp.

There is a small prize; a signed copy of a Lester Piggott photograph. Yes, I know he ran on the smoother stuff but you can't expect us to be conistently consistent, can you?

The usual considerations apply; that is we won't use your details which you use for anything other than the contest and that we promise to delete the database after the competition and when the winner is notified.

Yours sincerely,
The UK Horse Racing Team
