Again, there's been loads of stuff done on the UK Horse Racing site in the past month, the biggest news item is that we have finally merged the two sites, UK Horse Racing and Weak Favourites, together. There's a couple of issues left outstanding but, on the whole the sites merger went off rather well.
In the previous newsletter (issue 12) we mentioned the Amalgamated XML in which it contained all of the Weak Favourites selections.
The Amalgamated XML now contains all of selections, back and lays, in one file.
Furthermore, in the ratings (both the summary and the detailed ratings) each horse which is subject to a backing or a laying system has this information listed beside it.
This example shows the runners in the 2.20 Southwell yesterday, the 12th of February:
The top rated was a non-runner and the race was won by William Blake at 9/1
Now that the sites have been merged it's now possible to show this information and it does give a good overview of the race at single glance.
Trainer/Jockey/Course combinations, or TJC for short, have just been coded up and they are currently available in the CSV ratings file.
These list the combination of the trainer and jockey at the course where they race each day and their results are calculated for their last five years years.
So we can see how many wins they have had out of how many runs, their profit and loss, the strike rate and the Rate of Investment (ROI).
We are pleased to inform you that our plans are running at full steam ahead for the introduction of this additional service, and we are getting more and more excited as the features and functionality take shape.
In case you didn't get our previous email (and wonder what on earth we're talking about) we are in the advanced stages of development of a betting bot, which we call the UK Horse Racing Bot that will automatically import all of the systems selections each day derived from our highly successful UK Horse Racings ratings. The UK Horse Racing Bot will allow you to follow any system of combination of systems (which we call a portfolio), as well as apply your own filters (e.g. odds ranges, type of race etc).
No more need to be at the market placing bets during the day. No more need to set up your bets every morning. Once you have set up your systems and portfolios you can even go holiday and as long as your computer is running the UK Horse Racing Bot will continue to place every bet for you. The software will not interfere with your computer as it sits in the background logged directly into your Betfair account.
If you are following a portfolio of systems you can set the UK Horse Racing Bot up to manage duplications as you choose e.g. only use a selection once or increase your staking by a set amount on a horse if it is selected by more than one system.
We believe that this will be one of the most sophisticated and flexible betting bots ever made available for Betfair and the only one to have at its heart our highly acclaimed ratings service. We are confident that this will be the most powerful way available of applying our service to consistently build your betting profits over time.
To summarise
The UK Horse Racing Bot will only be available to subscribers of UK Horse Racing. The initial cost will be £300 per quarter (this will become our flagship product, including the Ratings*, System Selections* & UK Horse Racing Bot) however this will be discounted to £240 per quarter for the first month for the launch period to give priority to our current subscribers.
