All RAdj Underscores, 2006-2009

Introduction

This lab report investigates all the RAdj Underscores from 2006 until September 2009. Again rather than a lab note with the data displayed this note takes the form of two file downloads.

The first file is for those with Excel 2007. The second is the same data but in two CSV files which can be read by any spreadsheet. The reason why these have been split into two files is that so each file can be inserted into any spreadsheet or used as a data source for any application.

All prices are to Holmes' pseudo BFSP which tend to be more pessimistic than the real BFSP.

Examples

Here's an example of two very simple filters; Race Class 110+ and GB only. This will make a good starting point for further investigation.

This second example is perhaps simpler. GB and IRE, but no all-weather and no racing on heavy going nor on the good going. The reason for not having the good going is that although the strike rate is good, the ROI is low as these horses tend to be well known and well backed.

The date range for both these graphs are from the 1st of January 2006 until early September 2009.
